Fitness enthusiasts! If you’ve been looking for a smart weighing scale, Xiaomi has finally brought in their Mi Smart Scale to Malaysia.

Xiaomi’s Mi Smart Scale is a smart weighing scale with a graphical LED display that kind of looks like pixel art. It’s precise up to 100g with a 5kg-150kg range. It can track your weight and BMI too with the Mi Fit app.

What’s more, the scale is smart enough to identify different members of the family (including differentiating between children and adults) and can store up to 16 user profiles.

Its top surface is tempered glass with over 91.5% light transmittance for the main panel. The glass goes through 5 layers of silk printing and 20 manufacturing steps to get its texture. Xiaomi also says that they’ve tested it “rigorously” including a 1m steel ball drop test to make sure the scale holds up.

The Mi Scale is also power efficient as it uses Bluetooth 4.0 technology. According to the company, 4 AA batteries can last you an entire year. It will also automatically sync data and update its firmware via the Mi Fit app.

The Mi Scale is now on sale for RM129 on Lazada and you can click here to buy one.

It is worth noting that the Mi Smart Scale is priced a lot higher here in Malaysia than it is in China because over there it is selling for CNY99 (about RM62.64). This also isn’t a new product because it was first launched back in 2015.
