While Xiaomi is launching a bigger version of its current flagship, LG Mobile is taking an opposite approach with their upcoming device. The Korean smartphone maker is expected to launch a mini version of the LG G6 that comes with a Full Vision display.
The new device is expected to be called the Q6 and it’s a smaller smartphone that comes with an 18:9 display aspect ratio. This allows the device to have a higher screen to body ratio with reduced forehead and chin.
In terms of specs, the LG Q6 is expected to come on a lower 1.4GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 processor that’s mated to 3GB of RAM. At the front, the device is expected to come with a 5.4″ display with a lower full HD screen resolution. It will carry a 13MP main camera at the rear and it would run on the current Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The LG G6 with its 5.7″ Full Vision display already feels significantly smaller than most phones with the same screen size. With this new Q6, it would definitely feel even tinier in the hands. The device will be revealed tomorrow and it is likely to debut first in Europe.
