If you’re excited about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note8, here’s a little treat to feast your eyes on. Yesterday we’ve seen Galaxy Note8 renders obtained by @onleaks and BGR but now we get to see something closer to the real deal.
With Samsung expecting to launch their next big thing in a couple of months time, you can already buy protective cases for the Galaxy Note8. Retailer MobileFun had already listed several Olixar cases for the Galaxy Note8 on pre-order. This gives us a glimpse of the overall design especially the placement of its dual-cameras and fingerprint sensor.
From the renders above, it matches the earlier renders with a horizontally placed dual-cameras with a heart rate and fingerprint sensor placed right next to it. Like the Galaxy S8/S8+, there’s also a dedicated Bixby button on the left side of the device.
Unlike what was portrayed on the earlier renders, the camera bump for the Note8 appears to be very minimal and we expect it to be not much thicker than the current camera bump on the Galaxy S8/S8+.
To recap on the purported specs according to serial leakster @evleaks, the Galaxy Note8 is expected to feature the same Exynos 8895 processor (Snapdragon 835 for US market) as the Galaxy S8/S8+ but it now comes with 6GB of RAM.
The screen will be slightly bigger at 6.3″ and it will come with Samsung’s typical dual-curved AMOLED display in a 18:9 aspect ratio. For the battery, the Note8 is expected to come with a smaller 3,300mAh unit while the rear will feature Samsung’s first dual-camera system that uses two 12MP sensors with OIS.
This isn’t the first time a leak like this has happended. Previously, other case makers such as Spigen and UAG had leaked renders of the Galaxy Note7 and Galaxy S8/S8+.
