vivo V5s in Matte Black goes on sale in Malaysia on 17 June

vivo Malaysia is finally offering its selfie-centric V5s smartphone in Matte Black. If you prefer something more stealthy than its usual Gold and Rose Gold colours, this could be the colour for you.

The vivo V5s in Matte Black will be available in Malaysia starting this Saturday, 17 June 2017 and it retains the same price tag of RM1,299. Apart from its usual network of dealers, the V5s is also available with postpaid contract via Digi, Maxis and Celcom. Under Celcom, the V5s can be yours from RM258 on contract. Meanwhile Maxis is offering it for RM1 and you can get it for free under Digi.

To refresh your memory, the vivo V5s is a 5.5″ smartphone with a HD 720p display. Underneath its unibody metal design lies a MediaTek MT6750 Octa-Core processor that’s mated to 4GB of RAM. On-board it gets 64GB of storage which is expandable via microSD.

The main highlight is its front facing 20MP f/2.0 camera that’s enhanced with Selfie Softlight and Face Beauty 6.0 enhancement. For normal shots, it gets a 13MP f/2.2 main camera with PDAF assistance. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on its home button and for better audio, it comes with a AK4376 HiFi DAC built-in.
