TM appoints new webe CEO

After the appointment of its new Group CEO, Telekom Malaysia has announced another round of reshuffling for its management positions. This includes the announcement of Moharmustaqeem Mohammed as the new CEO of webe.

Mohar is currently heading the Mass Market Marketing Operations (MMMO) at TM, a position which he held since January 2013. Prior to this, he was the head of Market Operations & Commercial Partnerships at Digi. Mohar will succeed Azizi A. Hadi and his new appointment will take effect on 15 May 2017. Meanwhile, Azizi will be taking up a new role as the Executive Vice President of Managed Accounts at TM.

Nor Fadhilah Mohd Ali is officially appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (GCFO). She had taken up duties of the role last month when the former GFCO, Bazlan Osman was appointed as the Deputy Group CEO. Her appointment is also a significant one being the first woman GCFO for TM Group.

Another major appointment is Dato’s Kairul Annuar Mohamed Zam Zam who will take charge as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). He is currently the EVP of TM Government and the Chairman of Managed Accounts Council (MAC).

Mohd Roslan Mohd Rashidi, the CEO of GITN Sdn Bhd (TM Subsidiary to serve communication requirements of the Government sector) is appointed as the head of TM Government while Nizam Arshad will head up VADS and VADS Lyfe Sdn Bhd, succeeding Massimo Migliuolo.

The Customer Advocacy role by Ahmad Azhar Yahya will be embedded into the business. Currently the Chief Digital Officer, Ahmad Azhar will be reporting directly to the TM Group CEO, Dato’ Sri Mohammed Shazalli.

Dato Sri Mohammed Shazalli says that these new appointments are a part of the next phase of TM’s ongoing transformation as Malaysia’s Convergence Champion. He added that the appointments are from internal homegrown talents and they are in line with TM becoming a more agile organisation that responds to business and market needs.
