Over the weekend, Celcom customers had faced problems connecting to Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. Due to this inconvenience, Celcom is giving back to its customers by offering a week of free data usage for both Celcom and Xpax customers.
According to Celcom, they have resolved the issue on Sunday evening and they are performing further upgrades to improve the situation. They added that they are working together with Facebook on this and they target to complete the upgrade by 28 April 2017.
As a gesture of goodwill, Celcom/Xpax will be offering 1 week of free data for Facebook and WhatsApp, however, they will only announce details of the offer by the end of today. Interestingly, they didn’t include Instagram which was also affected during the weekend.
