It looks like we might have the official local pricing of Nokia‘s midrange smartphone, the Nokia 6. There will be two variants and, from the looks of things, could be quite pricey.
Oh, and there’s also information on the Nokia 3310‘s local pricing too.
This new slew of information comes to us courtesy of Mdroid.my. According to them, the Nokia 6 — which has a Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a 16MP/8MP camera combo — will be priced at RM899. There will also be a higher-spec variant, which we suspect is the Nokia 6R, that sports 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage set to go on sale for RM1,299.
That’s quite pricey especially if you look a the handset’s processor. However, you should also keep in mind that Nokia’s new smartphone has easily one of the best builds in the midrange segment.
Next, Mdroid has also spilt the beans on what could be the price of nostalgia in the palm of your hand. Yep, we’re talking about the Nokia 3310 revamp edition. According to them, the new old phone will be priced at RM189.
It’s no secret that I’m not a big fan of this throwback phone because I think they didn’t go far enough. But hey, to each their own.
In any case, you should take this with a grain of salt because none of this has been officially confirmed yet. But, based on what we’ve seen so far, this could very well be the official price. Unfortunately, there is no information about Nokia’s other two entry-level smartphones the Nokia 3 and Nokia 5.
What do you guys think of this pricing? Let me know in the comments below.
