Samsung will launch the Galaxy S8 on 29 March

The Samsung will announce the Galaxy S8 on 29 March! This was revealed at the end of today’s Samsung Press Conference at Barcelona.

From what we have seen so far, Galaxy S8 will come in two models – a standard version with 5.8″ dual-curved display and a larger S8+ model with a larger 6.2″ dual-curved screen. To ensure the bigger screen is usable with a single hand, Samsung will likely go for a taller screen aspect ratio like the recently announced LG G6. This also means that the home button will be removed in favour for on-screen navigation buttons and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy S8/S8+ will run with either the latest Snapdragon 835 processor or its in-house developed Exynos 9. Both will come with at least 4GB of RAM and a minimum of 64GB of storage.

We will find out more in a month’s time. It is likely that us folks in Malaysia could get the device by end April.
