The Huawei Watch 2 looks sportier than ever

Reported to be launched together with the P10, images of Huawei‘s follow up to the Huawei Watch has leaked ahead of Mobile World Congress 2017. It looks sportier, speckier and comes with more features than its predecessor.

Huawei’s new Watch 2 is rumoured to come running Android Wear 2.0 and all its awesome features. It’s also supposed to be sportier, though considering how bulky the original was, we’re not too sure how that would work in the real world. We hope Huawei has been hard at work in reducing that bulk.

There’s also support for a nano-SIM which means the watch can offer cellular connectivity free from a smartphone — something Android Wear 2.0 is designed to take advantage of . From the looks of things, Huawei’s upcoming wearable is set to take on Samsung’s Gear S3 Frontier from last year as well as the new LG Watch Sport.

For some reason, I’m really diggin’ the look of the speckled one. What do you guys think of the new Watch 2? Let me know in the comments below.

We will be covering the launch event live from Barcelona so stay tuned for that!
