Uber is now available in Kuantan

Uber is kicking off the year of the rooster with the rollout of UberX in Kuantan. This is their 9th city in Malaysia and their first location on the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

In terms of rates, Uber charges a base fare of RM1.00 followed by RM0.60 per KM and RM0.30 per minute. As a special promo, use the code RIDEUBERKUANTAN to get RM5 off for 4 rides in Kuantan. This is valid until 28 February for new Uber riders only.

On top of that, Uber riders in Kuantan can redeem a free Mango Cheesecake from Kula Cakes. Just take a ride between Wednesday to Sunday and show your trip receipt at the counter. If you take a selfie with it, you can stand a chance to win RM100 of Uber credits. Just make sure to hashtag #UberKUA and #KulaCakes. The Uber app is available on iOS and Android.
