The first Galaxy A Series with IP68 dust and water resistance is now available in Malaysia. These elegant smartphones offer a seamless design with the use of metal and glass. Like Samsung’s latest flagships, the rear uses 3D glass for a better feel in your hands.
Not only it looks good, but it’s also safeguarded for your unplanned moments. With IP68 rating, the Galaxy A Series (2017) can accompany you wherever life takes you and it can be immersed in 1.5 meters of water up to 30 minutes.
The Galaxy A Series (2017) comes with a higher resolution 16MP front and back cameras with f/1.9 lens for clearer, brighter shots. This allows you to capture photos clearer in low-light conditions so that you won’t miss a shot. You can also up your selfie game by tweaking skin tone, face slimming and eye enlargement from the camera app. Taking selfies are much easier too with its floating shutter button that you can freely drag around the screen.
The Galaxy A Series (2017) comes with triple slots, allowing you to insert two SIM cards and a microSD card at the same time. This makes it perfect for power users and frequent travellers. The microSD expansion slot lets you expand another 256GB of extra space.
The Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 packs 3,000mAh and 3,600mAh batteries respectively which are sufficient to last your busy day. If you need to charge, both smartphones support Samsung’s adaptive fast charging through a reversible USB Type-C. If you need a glance of what’s going on, the Always-On display will show your current notifications without needing to wake up your phone. With third-party app support on the Always-On display, you can view your incoming messages with a quick double tap.
The Galaxy A5 (2017) is priced at RM1,699 while the Galaxy A7 (2017) is going for RM1,899, and officially goes on sale today! Both models are currently available in Black Sky and Gold Sand colours.
