Android 7.0 Nougat update rolling out to the Galaxy S7 edge in Malaysia now

Samsung is finally rolling out the Android 7.0 Nougat update for their Galaxy S7 edge smartphones here in Malaysia. Here are all the juicy details.

With this new update, users can expect to see a whole bunch of changes. The update is 1.318.38GB in size so users who’ve maxed out their phone’s storage will have to clear some stuff. Here are the improvements you can expect with the new update:

So the headline features, besides the new version of Android, is the new Always On Display — like the one on their new Galaxy A (2017) smartphones — with support for third-party applications and the ability to double tap on each notification to launch directly into the app. What’s more, you also get the new UX which is an overall cleaner experience with nicer quick settings to boot.

This update is rolling out in Malaysia so you can expect to see it hit your smartphone soon. If you haven’t already gotten the notification, you can check manually by accessing Settings > About Device > Download Updates Manually.
