Flexiroam X offers Buy 1 Free 1 Starter packs for MySamsung users

Flexiroam X is an alternative data roaming solution and it works with your existing SIM card. For a limited time, you can buy a Flexiroam X starter pack with 1GB pre-loaded data and get another set for free. This is offer is exclusive for MySamsung app users.

The Starter Pack with 1GB pre-loaded data usually costs US$29.99 (RM133) but now you get two for the same price which calculates to US$14.99 (RM66.50) each. Usually, the starter pack is sold at US$9.99 (RM44.62) with 1-year validity and it costs US$29.99 (RM133) for 1GB of Data.

How Flexiroam X works is rather different. In a starter pack, you’ll get a microchip “sticker” which you’ll need to apply on your existing SIM card. This lets you switch between your original home SIM to Flexiroam without the need of swapping physical sim cards. You can manage this under your phone’s SIM application settings.

Instead of paying daily roaming rates or buying a local SIM for each country, Flexiroam gives you a pool of data which can be utilised across multiple countries with a full year of validity. On top of that, you can also unlock free data by entering promo codes or by referring more friends.

If you roam frequently with an average use of 100-200MB per day, this is quite affordable in the long run if you’ve been paying over than RM30/day. Since it isn’t tied to any country, you can stay connected when you transit through multiple countries on the same day.
