vivo V5 Plus with double selfie cameras is launching next Friday

vivo has just sent out press invites for the official launch of the vivo V5 Plus in Malaysia. This would be the higher-spec variant of the vivo V5 that was launched here late last year.

The vivo V5 Plus isn’t officially announced globally yet but the purported specs were leaked sometime last week. The size should be quite similar with the standard V5 as it gets a 5.5-inch display. Instead of a HD 720p screen, the V5 Plus has a better display that pushes full HD resolution.

Under the hood, it runs on a more favourable Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 652 processor with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage. Keeping the lights on is a 3,300mAh battery that supports Quick Charge.

Of course, the main focus would be its dual front camera set up which consists of one 20MP front shooter and a secondary 8MP unit. How it works should be quite similar to Lenovo’s Vibe S1 which also came with two front cameras for bokeh effects.

We will be there at the launch that’s happening on 20th January, so stay tuned for the latest updates and pricing information.
