Will the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro see a Malaysian launch soon?

An interesting report has emerged on SamMobile which indicates that Samsung’s Galaxy C9 Pro smartphone might make its way to Malaysia in the coming weeks. Previously, the Galaxy C9 Pro already saw its launch last year as a China-exclusive smartphone.

SamMobile references an article over at Indian tech website Gear which states that the Galaxy C9 Pro will see a launch in India soon. They also said they’ve learned that there will be a few other countries on that launch list too including Malaysia.

Samsung’s Galaxy C9 Pro is a powerful smartphone. It’s a 6-inch device with a Full HD Super AMOLED display and stereo loudspeakers. Inside, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 653 processor with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage (expandable via MicroSD). In the camera department, it gets a 16MP camera in the front and back (like the new Galaxy A phones) while a large 4,000 mAh quick-charge enabled battery keeps the lights on. It’s also a metal smartphone unlike the glass and metal Galaxy A9 Pro.

We checked in SIRIM’s database at the time of this article’s writing but were unable to find the Galaxy C9 Pro in its entries, so do take this with a pinch of salt.
