Samsung Galaxy A 2017 is available for pre-order with Digi

The latest Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 for 2017 are officially launched in Malaysia. If you’re thinking of getting one with a contract, Digi has started accepting pre-orders for the new premium mid-range smartphones.

The Galaxy A5 and A7 are tied with their previous Digi Postpaid 98 and Postpaid 148 device postpaid plans. To recap, Postpaid 98 plan(RM98/month) gives you 7GB of data, unlimited calls and the ability to rollover 2GB of unused data to the following month. Meanwhile, the higher Postpaid 148 option (RM148/month) comes with 10GB of data, unlimited calls and you can roll over 3GB of data each month.

Obviously these plans are not as generous with data as their latest Postpaid offering. As an added bonus, Digi is offering free additional 5GB data each month for customers that pre-order from them.

The Samsung Galaxy A (2017) series on Digi are priced as follows on a 24 month contract:

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)
Digi Postpaid 98 – RM399 (Advance payment: RM970)
Digi Postpaid 148 – RM0 (Advance payment: RM1,369)

Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017)
Digi Postpaid 98 – RM499 (Advance payment: RM1,030)
Digi Postpaid 148 – RM99 (Advance payment: RM1,430)

Take note that during registration, you’ll need to pay an advance payment plus one month’s subscription fee. RM0 upfront payment and 0% interest installment plans are also available. In Malaysia, the Galaxy A5 is priced at RM1,699 while the bigger Galaxy A7 is priced at RM1,899. The pre-order is available from now until 15th January 2017. Digi says that the deliveries will start from 25 January onwards.
