While many knew that BlackBerry’s new smartphone with a physical QWERTY keyboard was coming soon, this may be our first look at that very handset.

Dubbed ‘Mercury’, this device will be designed, overseen and built by TCL (Alcatel’s parent company). TCL president Steve Cistulli showed a teaser of their upcoming BlackBerry device prior to the start of CES.

Rumours indicate that the new smartphone will feature a 1620×1080 pixel resolution with about 420 ppi. That works out to a screen size of about 4.63 inches. Other rumoured specifications include a Snapdragon processor (Android Central believes it could be a 625 chip), 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
