ZTE Blade V8 appears with a dual-camera set up

With CES 2017 happening in a couple of days, ZTE is expected to announce a new smartphone under its Blade series. This would be their upcoming Blade V8 which replaces its current V7 series.

Based on the leaked photos, the ZTE Blade V8 will come with two cameras at the back. This would consist of a 13MP main camera and a secondary 2MP unit for bokeh effects. It is also mentioned that the dual-cameras can be used to take stereoscopic 3D photos that are viewable in VR.

In terms of design, it has a 7.7mm slim metal unibody design for an upmarket look. The display is a 5.2″ unit that pushes full HD resolution and underneath it is a home button that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor. For selfies, it also gets a 13MP front camera.

The ZTE Blade V8 will run on a Snapdragon 435 processor that’s mated to 3GB of RAM and on-board it gets a decent 32GB of storage. It also supports NFC and it will run on Android 7.0 with its MiFlavor skin on top.

The ZTE Blade series are usually affordably priced but the new one could be priced higher since it uses Qualcomm processors instead of MediaTek. As a comparison, the ZTE Blade V7 Lite is priced at RM699 while the bigger V7 Max is going for RM999.
