Uber continues to expand in Malaysia and they are now rolling in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Not only it provides a car on demand service, but it enables Seremban folks to make additional income as a driver.
At the moment, only the base UberX offering is available in Seremban. Trips are charged at a base fare of RM0.95 and it is further calculated at RM0.60/KM and RM0.25/minute. In terms of payment, Uber riders can pay by credit/debit card or cash.
This is Uber’s 8th location in Malaysia after Melaka, Ipoh, Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Kuching, Kota Kinabalu and Johor Bahru. If you haven’t tried it yet, you can download the Uber app on iOS, Android and Windows Phone.
