Xiaomi is making its debut at CES 2017. What will they release next?

Xiaomi is predominantly focused on Asian markets but they are slowly making their way to the US. Recently they had introduced its a global Mi Box that pushes 4K content via Android TV.

After introducing its bezel-less Mi MIX smartphone, Xiaomi will be revealing an all-new product at CES 2017 that promises on pushing the boundaries of innovation.

This is the first time Xiaomi is making an appearance in a major US based show and CES is the best venue to showcase its products for the American market. The last international event they had outside of Asia was during Mobile World Congress where it unveiled its Mi 5 flagship smartphone.

Is Xiaomi finally releasing a smartphone for the US market? It could be since Xiaomi has acquired a couple of patents from Microsoft. Here’s the description of the event on CES:

At its CES debut, leading technology company Xiaomi will be showcasing an exciting new product that illustrates how it is pushing the boundaries of innovation. Xiaomi was founded based on the vision “innovation for everyone” — with the belief that high-quality products built with cutting-edge technology should be made widely accessible.

The last product that really pushes the boundary is the Mi MIX and it’s possible that they are releasing a newer version for the international market. With VR gaining traction, they could also introduce a Google Daydream edition of their Mi VR headset. What we do know is that it will be a global product and it should be coming to Malaysia as well.
