Tomorrow at 2pm Malaysian time, Xiaomi is set to unveil the successor to their large phablet flagship Mi Note — the Mi Note 2. While that’s pretty exciting news, we thought we’d take a look at all of the leaked specifications thus far and collect them all in one post so you know what you’re getting excited for.

There have been numerous leaks for Xiaomi’s anticipated flagship smartphone. A few days ago, PhoneArena stumbled across a leaked PowerPoint presentation that allegedly contains the specifications of the Mi Note 2.

First up, it comes with a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display that’s pressure sensitive. Then, a tweet from Xiaomi themselves confirms that the Xiaomi Mi Note 2’s high-resolution display will have “two-sided dual-curves” similar to something on the Samsung Galaxy Note7 and S7 edge.

Inside, it’s powered by a Snapdragon 821 processor and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

As far as camera optics are concerned, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will pack a dual camera setup featuring a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 sensor and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX378 sensor at the back. In front, it will sport an 8-megapixel selfie snapper.

For biometric security, the Mi Note 2 is rumoured to come with both an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and an iris scanner for quick unlocks. The handset also has a 4,100 mAh battery that’s Quick Charge enabled.

Besides that, the Mi Note 2 has been said to come with NFC to support Mi Pay.

Whether these specifications end up being true or not, we’ll find out soon enough. Alex will be going live from Beijing to cover the official launch of this handset so definitely stay tuned for all the juicy details.

If you want to catch the stream live yourself, the event will be streamed live on Facebook too. See you guys at 2pm local Malaysian time tomorrow!
