If you’re waiting for the iPhone 7, it looks like the Malaysian availability is just around the corner. The iPhone 7/7 Plus were announced a couple of weeks ago and it could be arriving in Malaysia as early as next month.
Malaysian e-commerce site GEMFIVE has started pre-orders for iPhone 7 units that are listed to be official Malaysian units. It is mentioned that these units will be covered by Apple Malaysia Warranty. According to their pre-order list, the iPhone 7 will be officially priced as follows:
iPhone 7 32GB – RM3,199
iPhone 7 128GB – RM3,699
iPhone 7 256GB – RM4,199
iPhone 7 Plus 32GB – RM3,799
iPhone 7 Plus 128GB – RM4,299
iPhone 7 Plus 256GB – RM4,799
UPDATE: iPhone 7 official Malaysian pricing confirmed.
These are not just any merchant listing as these iPhone 7 Pre-orders are sold and fulfilled by GEMFIVE themselves. In terms of availability, all iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are listed to be available by end of October and they are offering 0% installment plans as well.
That’s not all, you can get it even cheaper with its MORE12 voucher code that offers RM250 off. If you’re interested, you can search for Pre-order iPhone 7 and look out for items that are “Sold by GEMFIVE”. It looks like all colours are available except for the Jet Black.
This isn’t the first time GEMFIVE has jump the gun on unreleased products. Last month, they had revealed the official specs and pricing for the honor 8 ahead of its official launch in Malaysia. While Apple has yet to make an official announcement, the pricing looks quite concrete when compared to other markets.
So if you’re looking to buy an iPhone 7, you might want to wait for official units as it comes covered by official local warranty. You can also expect our big 4 telcos in Malaysia to offer pre-orders and contract plans ahead of its official launch.
