Huawei P9 Rose Gold Edition arrives in Malaysia

The Huawei P9 now comes in a dash of pink with the release of its Rose Gold Edition. It will be offered as a limited edition device with only 999 units for the Malaysian market.

Apart from the new colour, the Huawei P9 Rose Gold also gets an upgrade hardware with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The current standard Huawei P9 which retails for RM2,099 comes with just 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Over at the sides, it has extra red colour details around the power button. The rest of the phone remains unchanged with a 5.2″ Full HD display and it runs on their Kirin 955 Octa-Core processor.

It also features the same Leica co-engineered camera set up with dual 12MP cameras at the rear. Meanwhile, the front gets an 8MP camera for all your selfie needs. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the rear and it is powered by a 3,000mAh battery that charges with USB Type-C. Like the current P9, it still comes with a standard 5V2A charger.

With its limited quantity and upgraded specs, the Huawei P9 Rose Gold is priced at RM2,399. It will be available at selected Huawei retail stores and they are giving away a Huawei P9 Gift Box worth RM259 until 2nd October 2016. If you haven’t seen it yet, check out our review of the Huawei P9.
