Apple is announcing its new iPhone on 7th September

Another year, another iPhone. It’s that time of the year again and Apple will be announcing its new iPhone 7 next week.

If you’re looking for an all new iPhone, this is the device to look forward to since last year was just a refresh of the iPhone 6/iPhone 6 Plus.

The Apple event is happening at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco next Wednesday, 7th September at 10:00AM. That’s 1.00AM Malaysian time the next day. Like previous Apple events, you can catch it live on Apple.com across Mac and iOS devices or on Microsoft Edge browser.

The timing matches @evleaks’ predictions and it should be available starting 16 September. If you want to get your hands on one, you can get it at Singapore which is among the first wave countries. As for Malaysia, you’ll need to wait for a couple of months.

So what can we expect? Word has it that Apple would be making the drastic move to ditch the headphone jack. On the upside, the next iPhone could come with a minimum of 32GB storage on-board which is good news for those who are aiming for the base model. There’s also a possibility that it could be waterproof for better peace of mind.

Are you looking forward to this? Let us know what would you expect the most from the next iPhone.
