The LEAGOO T1 finally gets Malaysian launch

LEAGOO’s stylin’ budget smartphone, the LEAGOO T1 is finally here.

With a premium gilded frame and rather stylish looks, the T1 definitely looks like it’s aimed at those looking for something sleek, without the massive pricetag.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737 processor mated to 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage that’s expandable to 128GB via the microSD slot. You’ll also get a 5″ 2.5D HD display with a 1280 x 720 resolution as well as 4G and dual-SIM capabilities.

On top of that, the phone is home to a 8 megapixel front camera and a fingerprint scanner at the rear just under its  13 megapixel rear shooter. Both cameras come with a dual-tone flash. For those who like selfies, the T1 comes with Beautify 4.0 for smoother and brighter looking skintones for those glam shots.

As for the OS, the LEAGOO T1 will be running LEAGOO OS 2.0, which is LEAGOO’s own skinned version of Android 6.0. However, the phone only comes with a 2,400mAH battery which is surprising considering its siblings  pack much more punch in the battery department.

They’ve even jacked up the reaction speed for the fingerprint scanner too, allowing you to unlock your device in just 0.19 seconds.

The LEAGOO T1 will retail for RM 549, and will be available in three colours; Champagne Gold, Rose Gold and Titanium Grey.
