The compact Mi 4i is now more affordable as Xiaomi has given it a price slash. Launched originally at RM749, the 16GB Mi 4i is now offered at RM599 which is RM150 off.
The Mi 4i 16GB is currently only available in white and surprisingly the 32GB version is still listed at RM899. To recap, the Mi 4i is a 5″ Full HD smartphone that runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 processor. It gets 2GB of RAM and there’s no expansion option for storage. It gets a 13MP f/2.0 + 5MP f/1.8 camera combo and juicing up the device is a 3,120mAh battery which is non-removable.
For the price, the Mi 4i looks like a good option under RM600. However it is already a year old and from our experience, it didn’t really live up to its “flagship” expectations. You can read our review of the Mi 4i here. For another RM50, you can consider getting the Redmi Note 2 instead and that offers a larger 5.5″ Full HD display, a faster Helio X10 processor and the option to expand storage via MicroSD.
