Xiaomi’s Mi 5 has captured the hearts and wallets of people around the globe with its incredible value and aesthetically pleasing looks. It was the underdog flagship that wanted to land a knockout punch on the giants in the smartphone industry.

Now, though, the public eye has shifted towards what device Xiaomi supposedly has planned for launch in the August of 2016 — the Mi 5s.

The Chinese company’s smartphones have always been about giving you all the flagship specifications and features for a fraction of the price. But, with recent technological advancements, many flagship makers are pulling out fancier features than simply a collection of top-of-the-line specs like you’d find in the Mi 5.

If these rumors are to be believed, Xiaomi is looking to shore up those weaknesses with the Mi 5s. First up, it’s rumoured to have a dual-camera setup on the back like you’d find on the Huawei P9 or LG G5. Though, with the size and the setup, it doesn’t look like the cameras will vary like the LG G5’s unit.

Other rumours have indicated that the Mi 5s will have a pressure sensitive display with Force Touch-like technology and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. Of course, it’s not to say that the Mi 5s will be lacking in the specs department. The handset is also rumoured to have a Snapdragon 820 processor mated to a whopping 6GB of RAM on the inside alongside a larger 5.5-inch Full HD display.

Do keep in mind that these are still rumours at this point and nothing has been officially confirmed yet so take it with a grain of salt.
