This is what Samsung Galaxy Note7’s UI might look like

Samsung has been gradually making its TouchWiz UI cleaner since the Galaxy S6. With the Galaxy Note7 coming soon, here’s a sneak preview of what its next TouchWiz has to offer.

HDBlog.it had a go with the latest TouchWiz in Beta which is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. While on the surface it looks pretty much the same as the current Galaxy S7/S7 edge interface, there are a couple of notable changes that make the experience better.

The home screen is now revamped with more subtle customisations. You can set the transparency for widgets and the icons can be shown without having the rounded box underlay.

While the new iPhone 6s/6s Plus Force Touch feature gives you extra options from the home screen, the new TouchWiz has something similar as well. Instead of pressing on the icons, you can flick upwards to bring up additional shortcuts as shown above.

The quick settings on the notifications bar looks cleaner now with a flat design. By default, tapping on the icons toggles between on/off and you would need to long press to access the additional menus. On the upcoming version, each icon has an expand option for quicker access to more settings. You can even adjust the intensity of the torch light feature.

This allows you to connect to WiFi or select a new Bluetooth device without leaving the notifications panel. You can learn more by watching the full TouchWiz Beta preview below. Overall, it is an improvement and it looks more “stock” than before. What do you guys think? If you haven’t seen it yet, here’s what to expect from the next Galaxy Note7.
