UPDATE: Huawei Malaysia issues a statement on the Nexus 6P price reveal. Details after the break.
Huawei is expected the launch the Nexus 6P in Malaysia sometime next month. If you can’t stomach the imported Nexus 6P price of RM2,899, it is recommended to wait for the official units that come with local Malaysian warranty.
Now it looks like we finally get a glimpse of its pricing through a slip up made on vmall.my.
The folks at Amanz had spotted a Nexus 6P page which shouldn’t be live at this point of time. It lists the 5.7″ Nexus phablet at RM2,698 including GST and the spec sheet has indicated 64GB of on-board storage that comes in either Aluminium and Graphite colour options. At RM2,698, it is priced the same as their current premium Huawei Mate S that also comes with 64GB of storage.
The page is no longer accessible but it is still viewable through Google Cache. At the moment, we can’t really confirm if this is the actual price but it looks quite legit considering the Nexus 6P is priced at $499 (about RM2,127) for 32GB and $549 (about RM2,340) for 64GB in the US.
To recap, the Nexus 6P has a 5.7″ Quad HD display and it runs on a Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM. It also gets a 12.3MP /f.20 main + 8MP f/2.4 front cameras, front stereo speakers, a fingerprint scanner and a 3,450mAh capacity battery that supports QuickCharge via USB Type C. Out of the box, it runs on the very latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, making this the device to get for the Android purist.
