Spigen starts offering Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ cases ahead of launch

The Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ is probably one of the most leaked Samsung flagship we’ve seen in recent times. With about a week left to its Samsung Unpacked event, case maker Spigen has started offering a wide range of protective covers for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 edge+.

This yet again confirms what we’ve seen in the last few weeks and it doesn’t stray away from the Galaxy S6/S6 edge design language. If you’re definitely putting your money on one of these new flagships, you can now order your case from Spigen with shipping expected to start from 1st September for selected models.

Just to recap, both phablet models are expected to run on the same benchmark topping Exynos 7420 processor with 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM with the Note 5 retaining a 5.7″ Quad HD display. Following the S6, both the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+ are almost certain to come without any expandable microSD slot and the unibody design also means that the battery is also non-removable. The cameras from the S6 are likely to be retained, which includes a 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilisation, while the front keeps its 5MP selfie shooter that supports wide selfie.

There won’t be any “Note Edge” this time around. If you’re looking for a device with a unique screen to show off, you’ll have the S6 edge+ which is basically the phablet version of the curent S6 edge. With a larger screen, both Note 5 and S6 edge+ would pack large battery capacities but word has it that it would be just 3,000mAh, that’s smaller compared to its previous Note series.
