The next generation Moto G looks to be getting an upgrade in both the style and specs department with news of customisation options as well as a much welcomed 2GB variant, much like the Redmi 2 Enhanced edition.
This newest leak basically tells us that the Moto G might be the first of the series to be eligible for MotoMaker customization (which was originally available for the Moto X) that lets you tweak your phone’s looks before you order it from the company.
The image above is just a taste of what you could possibly do with the budget phone with the huge array of colourful backplate options but so far its been confirmed that you won’t be able to modify your buttons.
As part of the customisation options available, the RAM as well as DTV might also be part of the program. It would make sense for the phone to have its prices marked up slightly should this become available, especially for the extra RAM variant. However do keep in mind that if the device does make it onto MotoMaker it will be an option only available for certain markets.
We are still eagerly awaiting the launch of Motorola’s new device so fingers crossed that they are going to launch on 28th July as rumoured.
