OPPO R7 Plus comes to Malaysia next week in Gold colour

OPPO will be launching its new OPPO R7 series in Malaysia on 7th July which is not too far away. If you’re looking for their top spec offering, the OPPO R7 Plus is their ultimate phablet with a 6″ Full HD AMOLED display but it gets a slender body at 7.75mm thin. Ahead of its official Malaysian launch, the folks at OPPO have confirmed that it will be available only in Gold colour.

To recap on the specs, the OPPO R7 Plus features a metal unibody design and it runs on a Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor with 3GB of RAM. There’s 32GB of on-board storage which can be expanded with microSD up to 128GB. This is a dual-SIM 4G LTE device, and the microSD slot also doubles up as a 2nd sim slot. For taking pictures, it gets a 13MP Sony IMX278 camera that’s capable of shooting Ultra HD pictures up to 52MP resolution. For natural illumination, it is supported with dual-tone LED flash. Selfie shots are taken with its 8MP front shooter which comes with auto beautification features.

Powering the OPPO R7 Plus is a huge 4,100mAh capacity battery which also supports VOOC Rapid Charging. Out of the box, it runs on the latest ColorOS 2.1 and it is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. New on the R7 Plus is an additional finger print scanner at the back, which unlocks at a single touch.
