Images of the purported iPhone 6S metal casing leaked, looks the same as its predecessor

Very recently we reported that the iPhone 6’s successor has already entered its production phase, and now we have leaked images of its metal chassis courtesy of 9to5Mac. In terms of general looks, the upcoming Apple device already looks like it is going to be identical to the iPhone 6.

According to the source, the new phone is likely going to have the same thickness and overall form factor as the previous gen, down to the colour options.

However there will likely be a myriad of hardware tweaks to better the device as well as more colour options to let it match with the Apple Watch.

Also, it appears that the iPhone 6S won’t in fact have a dual-lens camera system as the chassis doesn’t show the appropriate openings for it. As such the flash and camera layout will likely be the same s the iPhone 6.

The layout of the speaker and the ports will also be unchanged. Apple really isn’t going for anything new with the looks of the iPhone 6S.

Apple’s next flagship is expected to launch in September this year and we still don’t really have much details about the new phone besides the fact it will have Force Touch and that it might come in 4.7 or 5.5 inch variants.
