Malaysian Pricing for Huawei TalkBand B2 revealed

Huawei’s stylish 2nd generation TalkBand now has a pricetag for the Gold and standard editions on Huawei’s online store. Initially the prices were predicted to be much higher but the new listings reveal that they are slightly cheaper than previously predicted.

The device will be available in black and white variants for the basic version while the gold one gets its own pricing altogether at RM 558 and RM 668 respectively. Those who are buying the Huawei P8 on pre-order can also get the hybrid smartwatch for 30% off as part of a bundle.

To recap on the device, the TalkBand B2 is thinner but larger than its predecessor with a similar rubber strap for the basic version while the premium edition is getting a brown leather strap. The TalkBand B2 also has a touch interface for navigation as well as stopwatch, sleep tracker, pedometer and calorie monitoring features.

The earpiece has also been tweaked, now you can’t just pop it out direct from the case but rather you have to press two buttons to get it out, and you now have to plug your micro-USB straight into the smartwatch as they have removed the charging port on the strap. The watch has an expected battery life of about five days if you are just using the watch functions or up to seven hours talk time as a Bluetooth headset.

If you’re interested, you can place your orders for the TalkBand B2 Standard and Gold edition at VMall.my.
