TM Streamyx and Unifi users experiencing slow down

UPDATE: TM officially responded that the connectivity issue has been resolved.

If you’re a TM Streamyx or Unifi broadband subscriber, you could be experiencing slow connectivity at this moment. The slow down which affects a significant number of users is suspected to be caused by possible DNS routing issue.

TM is aware of the problem and they are trying to resolve it as soon as possible. There’s no estimated time for full service restoration yet and the call centres appears to be jammed up at the moment.

UPDATE @9:10PM

TM has issued an official announcement, acknowledging the issue which causes slow connectivity that was detected at 4:30PM. The statement didn’t explain the cause of the problem but they have redirected traffic which is said to be done in stages. According to them, the problem has been resolved as of 6:30PM.
