Struggle to get 4K content? Now here’s a YouTube video in 8K

As 4K resolution TVs are becoming mainstream, the biggest hurdle is getting the right content to maximise the screen’s potential. If you’re wealthy enough to own an epic 8K SUHD TV, here’s a YouTube video that you might appreciate.

Here’s a video called Ghost Towns which plays up to a maximum of 8K 4320p resolution. It was shot using a RED Epic Dragon 6K camera which was stitched on using Adobe After Effects with some up-scaling involved. So if you’re wondering how high can YouTube go, it looks like they are ready to take on the insane high resolutions that not many would be able to watch. Also not forgetting the struggle of streaming it in its full quality if you don’t have reliable and faster broadband speeds.

Check out the video after the break.
