Samsung Galaxy Tab E spotted in print, has a better screen than the Galaxy Tab A

Looks like Samsung is still adding new tablets to their repertoire and this time a Samsung Galaxy Tab E has been spotted in print in June’s issue of Taiwan Mobile bearing the model number SM-T560. It seems to be quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A but with some differences in terms of specs.

The listing shows the device would have a 9.6 inch screen with a 15:9 aspect ratio putting it at 1280 x 768 resolution, which is much more than what the Galaxy Tab A has. The Tab E also has  1.3GHz processor which is rumoured to be a quad-core CPU alongside Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. The camera you are getting here is a 5 megapixel snapper out back and though there isn’t any mention of a front camera it is likely to be a 2 megapixel selfie snapper.

The tablet here is listed as a Wi-Fi version so its likely that there will be one that can run on mobile data as well and knowing Samsung there might be more than one size variant if they are following the same formula as the Tab A.

UPDATE: The 690 TWD (RM83) price listed in the brochure is for the case accessory. So far there’s no official pricing for the Galaxy Tab E.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab E is listed to cost 690 Taiwan Dollars which equates to about RM 83 so it’s likely that the pricing is for a monthly installment.
