Xiaomi is launching something on June 10th and it looks like another smart home appliance

UPDATE: Xiaomi has posted more teasers and it could be a media player device.

Xiaomi has a big event coming next week and they’ve released some teasers that are hinting at more than just one thing up their sleeves.

The brand is known to product home appliances ranging from televisions to home lighting solutions and security. Previously they had introduced a Smart Air Purifier last year which was teased in a similar manner, with a vague teaser with just a date and the image of a fan. This time, the teaser is showing off multiple old-timey machines that could be hinting towards some brand new smart devices that could be incorporating some aspects of these.

It’s possible that the new device could be a water purifier as one of the teasers hints towards such and Xiaomi does have quite a big water purification business in China so it’s quite possible.  There are also rumours that Xiaomi might be working on a water and dust resistant smartphone but at the moment this isn’t too likely.

However the brand hasn’t made any substantial claims about what the event really is about so we will have to wait till June 10th to find out.
