The HTC One ME, the affordable variant of the One M9+ has been announced

HTC has officially announced their brand new HTC One ME, designed to be the cheaper alternative to the One M9+.

Sharing similar design elements from both the HTC One E9+ and One M9+ with a polycarbonate and metal frame. The new phone will have a 64 bit 2.2GHz octa-core Helio X10 processor as well as a 5.2 inch Quad HD display at 1440 x 2560 resolution, a fingerprint sensor as well as LTE and dual SIM support.

The device will be running on 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable memory as well as a 2,840 mAH battery. As for the camera the One ME has a single 20 megapixel rear camera with 4K video recording capabilities as well as a dual LED flash and the front snapper will be a 4 megapixel UltraPixel camera for selfie shots. The phone will also be getting dual front facing BoomSound speakers like the rest of its kin.

The HTC One ME will launch first in China and other Asian markets but exactly where and when has not yet been announced. The pricing also has not been confirmed either but the phone will come in meteor grey, gold sepia and rose gold colour variants that are common to HTC’s design.
