Rumour has it that the purported Lumia 940 and 940 XL won’t only have Quad HD displays but will also be sporting 20 megapixel cameras and USB Type C connectors.
As of the moment the Lumia 940 is rumoured to have a 5.2 inch display on 2560 x 1440, 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage on top of a 3,000mAh battery. They will also apparently sport a 20 megapixel camera which isn’t too alien for Lumia phones considering their heritage of having huge snappers out back.
On the Lumia 940 XL phablet on the other hand will apparently have a larger 5.7 inch display but similar internals as the Lumia 940 with the exception of a slightly larger battery at 3,300mAh and a Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood. Both phones will also apparently be sporting USB Type C connectors which might be used for the Continuit feature which will allow users to swap between touch and desktop modes.
The connectors are able to carry video, power and data simultaneously so the inclusion of the tech would make data transfer a lot simpler if they do turn out to actually have them.
