It’s been just over a month since the LG G4 got launched and it has found itself taken apart. This time however it’s the guys over at MyDrivers who have done the deed instead of our usual suspects over at iFixit. Also you might want to note that the LG G4 is the only new flagship out there to have a microSD slot and a removable battery.
As it turns out, dismantling the phone is a piece of cake, with just the removal of the back panel, batteries and a few screws getting the phone to bear it’s innards. The phone’s motherboard is laid out clearly and is a bundle of neatly stacked components with no excessively messy wiring, copper shielding or adhesive in the way.
So if your LG G4 gets damaged and needs a fix, it should be pretty easy to get it repaired and it shouldn’t cost as much just to peel the device open though the components could still cost quite a bit.
