Instagram Layout is now ready for Android devices

Instagram has just launched Layout, a straightforward photo collage app that was initially an iOS exclusive but now is available for Android.

In terms of looks, Layout is basically the same on Android and iOS with the same basic features that allow the creation of Instagram ready photo collages with up to nine photos.  Once you pick the layout you want, you can resize each photo, swap them around and rotate or flip individual images. You can also emulate photo booth style photos straight from your phone’s camera.

The resulting images will adhere to Instagram’s square form factor for photos and can be immediately uploaded via Layout to your Instagram account.

The app is available for smartphones running Android 4.1 and up and can be downloaded for free on Google Play.
