In hopes of catching a bit of the traction created by the launch of their latest flagship smartphone the LG G4, LG has brought to market two lower-end variants of the LG G4 in hopes the public will snap them up. The larger phone will be going by LG G4 Stylus and the smaller variant will be known as the LG G4c, both of which featuring similar designs and features to the original G4. In terms of looks, both phones feature a similar curved body with buttons mounted under the camera.

The larger of the two, the LG G4 Stylus is packing somewhat midrange specs, with quad-core processor running 1.2GHz mated to 1GB RAM as well as 8GB expandable storage. The display will be a pretty big 5.7 inch screen with a 720p resolution. Juicing the whole lot is a 3,000mAh battery and out back you will find a 13 megapixel camera. As its name would suggest, the phone comes with LG’s standard Rubberdium stylus.

The LG G4c on the other hand has a smaller form factor than the G4 stylus and is lacking the pen but shares similar specs under the hood. The phone has the same specs as it’s bigger sibling but you ge a smaller 2540mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera as well as a more petite 5 inch display at 720p. Both phones will have the camera’s Laser Autofocus feature as well as Knock Code and Gesture Shot on top of other LG standard features. The phones will have Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and 5 megapixel front cameras.

Sources say that both devices will launch worldwide with different configurations, which will include different camera configurations and radio combinations. LG says that sales will happen in a few weeks time and each region will get individual pricing information at time of announcement. Whatever the case, it better be a lot cheaper than the LG G4 which is currently going for RM 3,800 at DirectD stores.
