The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active looks like it married an Otterbox casing

Barely yesterday we reported about leaked images of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Active and now we have more from Twitter user @evleaks that show off more detailed images of their colours and backplate design.

The phone will be sporting two colour schemes in a camouflage motif as pictured here to enhance it’s rugged looks but we can’t help but feel that they look a lot like the phone has merged with an Otterbox Defender case. There’s still no word yet of the level of weatherproof certification the phone will be getting at the moment but it should be similar to that on the Galaxy S5 Active which has IP67 certification.

The Galaxy S6 Active will be sporting the model number SM-G890A and is rumoured to have the same specs as the Samsung Galaxy S6. The specs will include a 14nm Exynos 7420 processor, 5.1 inch QHD Super AMOLED display and is rumoured to have a rather large 3,500 mAh battery. The phone is also likely to sport the same 16 megapixel main camera and 5 megapixel front snapper as the Galaxy S6.

There hasn’t been word of an actual release date as of yet, but its likely to hit the market relatively soon.
