snake rewind
Last week we announced that Snake Rewind, the game of classic Snake reborn for touchscreen devices, was on the way and now it’s finally available for download.

From the creators of the original Snake, Rumilus has made the game available as a freemium title with the game free to download and you can either collect or purchase Fruits to spend in the in game “Fruit Store” for power ups. The best part is, if you happen to crash you can just rewind and get back on the ball. Graphics are quite minimalist but up to date with a snazzy soundtrack to boot.

It also looks like there will be a healthy mix of old and new features, with missions you can complete in the game as well as visual modes that imitate Snake from past and present, so if you fancy playing Snake on a Cathode Tube screen or exactly the way it was on the Nokia 6110 you can do just that.

The game can be downloaded for free for Android, iOS and Windows Phone platforms.
