Twitter leaker @Onleaks has managed to get a hold of what looks like an image render of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and it looks very similar to that of the Galaxy Tab A.
By the looks of it, the Tab S2 will be sporting a metal rim as well as a physical home button as well as a power button and a volume rocker on top of a microSD and SIM card slot. The home button could possibly be a fingerprint scanner as well.
Rumoured specs for the device include a super AMOLED 2048 x 1536 display, 64-bit Exynos processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB storage with Android 5.0 out of the box. The tablet is also expected to have a 8 megapixel rear camera with a 2.1 megapixel front shooter and Cat.6 LTE support.
@Onleaks also reports that the tablet may not be as skinny as originally thought, as it’s rumoured to be around 5.8 to 5.9 mm at it’s thickest point when previously it was speculated that the 8 inch model of the Tab S2 would be around 5.4 to 5.5mm thick.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is more or less expected to make it’s debut in June and should come in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi and 3G flavours.
