Check out these commercials for the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus

The Oppo R7 has shown up in it’s own television ad for the Chinese market, joined by the Oppo R7 Plus which pretty much came as a surprise appearance.

The Oppo R7 is home to 64-bit octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU mated to 3GB RAM with 16GB storage. It also sports a 5 inch Full HD screen with a pixel densityof 441ppi, as well as a 20.7 megapixel camera and a 2320mAh battery.

By the looks of things, the Oppo R7 will be making it’s debut with it’s larger sibling the Oppo R7 Plus, which features the same body, 2.5D glass and near edge-to-edge screen. The device will also have on-screen keys, a feature that has never been on any Oppo smartphone to date and it comes with a fingerprint reader on it’s rear, similar to that of the Huawei Ascend P7 Max and the HTC One Max which isn’t a very convenient placement.

Both phones will support VOOC rapid charging, with the second ad focusing explicitly on the charging aspect of the R7 series phones, which will grant users two hours of battery life for a five minute charge.

The phones are expected to be launched on the 20th of May which is not too far off, so hopefully we will have the full pricing for both models as well as the premium variant soon.
