Earlier this year Microsoft announced the development of their HoloLens augmented reality headset but this new promotional video gives us a look of what the earlier prototypes looked like plus a glimpse of what the headset looks like from the inside.
The promo video was shown at Build 2015 today and the headsets look pretty similar to the Google Glass prototypes when they were in development and the video shows just how complex wearable tech really is, especially when you try to cram everything into one device that’s meant to be worn on your face.
Of course, Windows Holographic is still very much in development but today they’ve confirmed that Windows 10 Universal apps are already functional, letting you resize apps, place them on walls or set to float in space as needed. Windows Holographic is no JARVIS but that is looking more and more like it could be a reality.
