Sporting a transparent band not seen since the Xperia P series that came out in 2012, this leaked image and specs of an upcoming Sony Xperia P2 shows that Sony is revisiting the look with a much more powerful phone and super thin bezels.
The Sony Xperia P2, as it has appeared on Chinese website cnbeta will have a 1.9GHz Snapdragon 810 mated to 3GB RAM and 32GB storage as well as a 5.2 inch Full HD IPS display as well as 5 megapixel front snapper and a huge rear 12.1 MP camera featuring Sony’s own 25mm F2 G OSS Lens as well as 4K video recording capabilities.
The most surprising bit about the Xperia P2 is it’s absolutely massive 4,240 mAH battery which is probably the influencing factor in it’s estimated thickness of 10.9mm at it’s thickest point. The Xperia P2 is like to retain it’s chunkier boxy looks due to this, but there’s a high chance the transparent strip will be illuminated much like the original P series.
We are seriously hoping that this leak is indeed true because the Xperia P2 already is looking way too good. Check out the full specs below.
