These sample images taken using the Mi 4i are pretty darn good

With its mid-range Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of non-expandable on-board storage, the Mi 4i is far from a flagship phone but what it lacks in raw power, the Mi 4i makes up in other areas. One aspect where the Mi 4i can definitely stick it to the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S6 is in the camera department, if these official sample shots are any indication

With “just” a 13MP Sony-sourced rear camera that’s lacking OIS, it’s pretty amazing what the Mi 4i can achieve and it goes to show that you don’t need necessarily need a high pixel count to produce amazing results. What the engineers at Xiaomi have demonstrated here is that when hardware and software are properly optimised, the results can be pretty darn good.
